It's essential that we arrange a Meet and Greet before taking on any bookings. There is no fee and no obligation to book after our meeting. It's just a friendly meeting to see if you and your pet are comfortable with me and for me to meet your requirements.

Our Meet and Greet is a friendly visit to your home to meet you and your pets and see them in their home environment. This enables me to see where your pet will be located during pick ups/visits....whether they will be in a crate, in a particular room or they may have the run of the house. Will they need feeding? Can we access cold water for their water bowl, any cleaning equipment we can access to clear up any messy accidents...etc

We will then do an assessment of your pets. This will be a general discussion about your pets temperament, likes and dislikes, any allergies, medical, behaviour, what they are like on their lead and how they react on their walk; are they comfortable with other dogs, cats, people, bikes.... How often they need walking, visits or fitting around your work patterns. Therefore, this will help in tailoring a service to meet you and your pets needs. If required, we can also arrange a trial walk.

We will provide evidence of our Insurance (Pet Plan Sanctuary), DBS, First Aid certificate any any credentials. There will be a brief overview of the forms we use, Service Agreements, Polices and Procedures, Consent Forms and a Booking Sheet. Issue of a key if you are at work or on holiday. Therefore, if you are happy to proceed we can also arrange a booking and follow this up with a letter confirming dates and agreed quote.

Our Meet and Greet usually take around 30 minutes, dependent on your pets requirements. You will also receive a Poppy'n'Pals - Welcome Pack.
